DIY: open myvi front bumper..
urgh , lately i’ve been writing about cars only. some of u may be fedup of this stupid car-blog of mr.hedayat. ahh, dun care what’s ur opinion, i just wanna share my experience with all of u. (especially to those stalkers)
let me start with my personal life first. today, getting fast to paint shop, send my bumper and spoiler. and just like what i though from my not-so-big room, the paint of my bon2 carribbean blue will not be as cheap as those faded solid colour paint one as what i planned when i sign the application form last time. choosing red or white, but change to this hella-a-bit-expensive-cool-and-pearl-new-colour carribbean blue. aritu anta Ozzy Orange pon pearl jugak. hadoii ..
the carribbean blue code B57 OEM that mix with blue, silver, brown (What the heck), green, silver again, blue again .. dot dot dot
It has been two days since I sent my-sweet-like-chocolate-girlfriend’s car 5010 Ozzy Orange to the paint shop, we both become like a couple of strange monkey missing their bananas at an island that only have a coconut tree. pepatah ape aku merepek ni? straight to the point, we really missed our lovely Ozzy Orange 5010. spying on the paint shop, looks like the cars only have done the surgury about 25%. urghh .. what a slow.
Because of this time i just leave my bon2-blue bumper, the tokeikedai bring me to the paint dealer to find this “how-to-describe-this-new-myvi-colour” colour (maybe he’s afraid if the paint dealer dont have that OEM colour yet), and just what i thought , still no formula for B57 carribbean blue. diorang kene la buat formula baru untuk this colour. korang nak tau kaler ape dia campur ?
blue .. silver .. red .. blue (a bit more) .. silver .. brown .. green .. blue … ( kacau2 and check the colour at the body .. then .. continue back campur kaler ) … blue … silver .. green .. brown .. red .. blue .. sampailah hampir 30minit – 45minit tgk dia campur2 kaler untuk get the formula for B57 caribbean blue. FYI, when u sent ur car to do paint job for touch-up, of course the original formula will be different because of your current paint condition. so still need to campur2 the paint colour to match with your car body colour.
Back to the topic, to open the myvi front bumper is a really-really-a-5-years-old-kids-job. It’s 100 times easier than opening Kelisa front bumper. It only have three 10″ nuts. YES, JUST 3 !! .. I don’t know how gay are u if u don’t know how to open this bumper after reading this post.
use your own test pen or flat head screwdriver to open the cover besides the fog lamp. cungkil la kat bahagian hijau “kel” seperti di atas ini. open both cover, open your plate number too. then open the 3 nuts like circle in red colour at picture below.
all the green circle is just clips. you just use back your own flat head screwdriver to open this clips. very2 easy even eating a burger is more difficult. !! not only those 14 clips, it’s more !! i also don’t know the exact place and how much the clips ( but it’s really a lot .. banyak gile .. tp tak pakai nuts pon ).. give the bumper a bit force to open, then walla, you have take out your myvi front bumper. dont worry, later it’ll be taken off by maybe the service center when you done your service there .. just a maybe .. later if u want to change horn or alarm of other, must take off bumper also ..

back to personal matters again , after done combining the colour, me, my sweet-lik….(panjang sgt nak taip)-girlfriend, Aimy Izyan and her mom having a late lunch at Putrajaya Lake Club. and not forgotton, tomorrow’s NEUVAS (khairul) weddings .. A very local and friendly Kelisaclub member merangkap geng Bangi and geng asal Melaka (including hasrul) . Omeedeto Gozaimas.
